Ahead of APC Campaign rally today in Bekwarra Local Gov’t Area, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has received scores of prominent opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Members/Supporter’s in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, including the ward chairman of Beten. The defectors  Mr. Mathew Oko, Peter Odama, Mrs Angela Oko, Godwin Achoda Bisong, Cecilia Odey, Samuel Okpodu, Ekunke Igbagri, others,   were received by Hon.(Prince) Edward Ajang, the Candidate of the party cum Member representing Bekwarra state constituency in the Cross River House of Assembly. Watch Videos ⬇️  The new APC members cited alleged injustice within PDP, as well as Governor Ayade’s developmental strides in Bekwarra. They also said that they joined APC sequel to the ”visible performances of Hon. Eddy the APC Legislator and other political appointees. They commended APC for fielding credible candidates for the 2023 General Elections.

Nnamdi Kanu starving in DSS facility – Younger brother raises alarm

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that he is being denied food in the facility of the Department of State Service (DSS).  Kanu is currently detained in the facility of the DSS on the order of Justice Binta Murtala Nyako-led Federal High Court in Abuja on the treasonable felony charges preferred against him by the federal government of Nigeria. However, disclosing the alleged ill-treatment by the Department of the State Service in a terse statement forwarded on Monday, the younger brother to the secessionist leader, Prince Kanu Meme, also claimed that the Nigeria’s secret police has denied him his medical report after taking his blood for more than 21 times. Prince Kanu Meme was on a routine visit to the detained separatist leader, Nnamdi. BREAKING: COURT ADJOURN NNAMDI KANU’S CASE TO JANUARY FOR THE SECOND TIME [See new date]

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday adjourned trial of detained leader of the outlawed Indegenious People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu till January 18, 2022.  Kanu’s case was originally scheduled to be heard next year, but the court granted an abridgement of time after a motion was filed by the Nigerian separatist leader. Justice Nyako had on November 10, 2021, adjourned the trial of Kanu till January 19 and 20, 2022, for trial. But the court granted an abridgement of time after a motion was filed in that respect and his matter was heard today (Thursday). Kanu was not present in court. More to follow…
