PHOTOS: Mom-of-two arrested in Yakurr, Cross River for beheading her 11-month-old son for “disturbing” her

A mother-of-two, identified as Mrs. Blessing Eno, has been arrested by the police in Cross River State for allegedly beheadding her 11-month-old son in the Yonen community of Ugep, Yakurr LGA of the state. The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, November 29. Vanguard reports that the suspect, who may be suffering from Schizophrenia (Mental Disorder), took out a matchet and cut  off the head of the baby, claiming that the child was disturbing her and a spirit instructed her to slaughter the boy. A Tanzanian passenger plane has crash-landed into Lake Victoria next to the north-western town of Bukoba, LAPNAIJA gathered from trending reports. More than 20 of the 49 passengers have been rescued, according to local media reports, but these figures has not been officially confirmed.
