Ahead of APC Campaign rally today in Bekwarra Local Gov’t Area, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has received scores of prominent opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Members/Supporter’s in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, including the ward chairman of Beten. The defectors  Mr. Mathew Oko, Peter Odama, Mrs Angela Oko, Godwin Achoda Bisong, Cecilia Odey, Samuel Okpodu, Ekunke Igbagri, others,   were received by Hon.(Prince) Edward Ajang, the Candidate of the party cum Member representing Bekwarra state constituency in the Cross River House of Assembly. Watch Videos ⬇️  The new APC members cited alleged injustice within PDP, as well as Governor Ayade’s developmental strides in Bekwarra. They also said that they joined APC sequel to the ”visible performances of Hon. Eddy the APC Legislator and other political appointees. They commended APC for fielding credible candidates for the 2023 General Elections.

Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Sunday, visited the headquarters of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Enugu State. The trio paid a condolence visit to the organisation over the death of a former minister, Mbazulike Amaechi, in November. Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-political organisation, has listed punishments for Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo's recent attack on Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi.⁣ Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, stated that Ndigbo would ensure that Soludo does not serve a second term as Governor.⁣ According to the Ohanaeze scribe, the Southeast would see Soludo as the enemy who worked against their 2023 presidential chances.⁣ He said: “For Soludo to have come out to insult the candidate of Nigeria, he might not return to the office because Ndigbo would punish him by making him a one-term governor. Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, took a swipe at the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Atiku Abubakar and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu respectively. Obi, who noted that the presidency of Nigeria is not a retirement home for the aged, described that Atiku and Tinubu as sick, tired and weak people. Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi has come under scrutiny over his visit to a controversial Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi. Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, in a tweet posted on his Twitter account on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the cleric at his residence in Kaduna state. Tweeps have since reacted to the visit, calling out Obi for hobnobbing with Gumi despite his alleged affiliation with bandits.

The former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has been seen in a viral video, offering the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, his seat at the number one table at a dinner reception. This was revealed in a statement made  available  to our correspondence through DAILY POST, Wednesday, by  Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Secretary-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide. He said apart from the unnamed governors, a number of the country’s past leaders were also backing Obi’s  candidature . He disclosed that the governors cut across different political platforms, adding that the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples  Democratic Party , PDP, and other political parties, were already afraid of the development. Ohanaeze, while hailing the  courage  and the determination of Nigerians who are trooping out in the different parts of the country in support of Peter Obi, urged that the momentum be sustained. Happening In Calabar: Peter Obi Supporters Holds 10 Million Man-Match, Say ‘Even Governor Ayade Is Obidient’.

Calabar, the first city capital of Nigeria and indeed Cross River state is literally on lockdown today,  as millions of supporters of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 Presidential election, Peter Obi, known as “Obidients”,  are staging a 10 million man-match, mega rally in the city. The rally is ongoing and is currently bringing vehicular movements to a standstill in major roads round the city.(Video below ⬇️) Lapnaija correspondence are live in different locations in the city as the  supporters are heard out loud, echoing in different voices and in totally different solidarity songs, including, “with Obi Nigeria go betta”, “Na Obi we know”, Na Obi we go follow”, Na ” Obi we go vote for”  as they marched along major streets of Calabar, and also calling on Governor Ayade to be Obidient to the call of Nigeria, if truly he has been there to serve the interest of Cross Riverians and Nigerians.
