Ahead of APC Campaign rally today in Bekwarra Local Gov’t Area, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has received scores of prominent opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Members/Supporter’s in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, including the ward chairman of Beten. The defectors  Mr. Mathew Oko, Peter Odama, Mrs Angela Oko, Godwin Achoda Bisong, Cecilia Odey, Samuel Okpodu, Ekunke Igbagri, others,   were received by Hon.(Prince) Edward Ajang, the Candidate of the party cum Member representing Bekwarra state constituency in the Cross River House of Assembly. Watch Videos ⬇️  The new APC members cited alleged injustice within PDP, as well as Governor Ayade’s developmental strides in Bekwarra. They also said that they joined APC sequel to the ”visible performances of Hon. Eddy the APC Legislator and other political appointees. They commended APC for fielding credible candidates for the 2023 General Elections.

2023: Gov. Ortom, Benue Elders, PDP Chieftains Withdraw Support For Atiku.

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom on Tuesday appeared to withdraw his support for the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar. Mr Ortom accused the PDP candidate of dishonoring him as Governor and working against the interest of Benue residents. His comments came after a group of elder statesmen in Benue, Minda Leaders of Thoughts, also withdrew their support for Atiku over alleged hate speech and profiling of Benue people. Mr Ortom appeared to have been incensed over Atiku’s comments on the recent killings by suspected herdsmen in Benue state. He accused Atiku of working with Miyetti Allah, a herdsmen group with a militant arm. “It was not correct for a presidential candidate who is seeking to rule the people to say that kind of thing,” Mr Ortom said on Tuesday at the Chapel of Grace, Government House, Makurdi. “It was very wrong. And it would appear that he doesn’t even reference me and consider me to be a Governor of my state.” Read also: Terror Alert:

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has been spotted at a restaurant amidst claim that he had travelled to France for medical reasons. In this video, his campaign’s spokesperson, Dino Melaye, can be heard saying in Pidgin English, “See person wey dem say dey for hospital oh. This place look like hospital? The man dey here dey chop him food, dey relax, dey enjoy, holding meetings. Mehn, God go help people. Thugs Invade Atiku's Rally In Kaduna, (VIDEO)

Suspected hoodlums have allegedly disrupted the presidential campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ranchers Bees Stadium, Kaduna state.  In a series of tweets on Monday, Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate, said the “sponsored thugs” attacked supporters of the party. He said the alleged attack is against the peace accord signed by all the presidential candidates. Abubakar asked President Muhammadu Buhari to caution the supporters of all political parties to desist from attacking rallies. “I have just received emergency reports of attacks on Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters by thugs sponsored to scuttle the ongoing PDP campaign rally in Kaduna State. This is undemocratic and against the Peace Accord all parties signed up for just a few weeks ago,” he tweeted. “I urge President Muhammadu Buhari to call on all parties to call their supporters and members to order and to ensure that campaigns, just as with the elections themselves, are kept free, fair and safe.”

The Director-General of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, has said the PDP standard bearer, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, will begin his campaign next week Monday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital. According to Tambuwal, the PDP will campaign based on issues affecting the country, adding that “Atiku is very well prepared to provide the required leadership for this country at this time.” The Sokoto State Governor made the revelation in Abuja on Tuesday at a press conference after the inspection of Atiku’s Campaign Office. A trending video has shown the former deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, saying that Nigeria’s presidency will rotate to the South-East, after the administration of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, if he wins next year’s election.
