Ahead of APC Campaign rally today in Bekwarra Local Gov’t Area, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has received scores of prominent opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Members/Supporter’s in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, including the ward chairman of Beten. The defectors  Mr. Mathew Oko, Peter Odama, Mrs Angela Oko, Godwin Achoda Bisong, Cecilia Odey, Samuel Okpodu, Ekunke Igbagri, others,   were received by Hon.(Prince) Edward Ajang, the Candidate of the party cum Member representing Bekwarra state constituency in the Cross River House of Assembly. Watch Videos ⬇️  The new APC members cited alleged injustice within PDP, as well as Governor Ayade’s developmental strides in Bekwarra. They also said that they joined APC sequel to the ”visible performances of Hon. Eddy the APC Legislator and other political appointees. They commended APC for fielding credible candidates for the 2023 General Elections.

Men of the Nigerian Army have assaulted a Police Traffic Warden in Calabar Municipality, Cross River State. The Army men who drove in convoy left the Traffic Warden bleeding from her head. The incident occurred at the traffic post along Murtala Muhammad Highway by Mobil filling station. The Traffic Warden explained in a video that her offense was that she was doing her job. Disrespectful: Woman Captured Assaulting Police Officer, Dragged His Uniform, Policeman Remain Calm, Didn’t React, (Watch Video).

A woman has been caught on camera assaulting a policeman in the FESTAC area of Lagos state yesterday. Paid advert: admission is ongoing at Institute of Marine & Technology, Nigeria. Location: Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The woman as seen in the video below ⬇️, grabbed the officer on uniform by the shirt, and is heard screaming in the face of the policeman and holding him tight, angry and saying that he had threatened to shoot her. Lapnaija blog felt this is too disrespectful to the Nigerian Police, Citizens must however respect our police force, if we must be respected anywhere. Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested an Abuja businesswoman, Onyinye Nwoke, for planting and selling cannabis.  Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, September 4, said the 38-year-old woman was arrested following an intelligence-led raid at her residence, House 56 Aldenco Estate, Galadimawa. According to the Babafemi, operatives uprooted fresh stems of cannabis plants grown at the backyard of the house. "The uprooted plants weighed 18.4kgs while 800grams of cannabis seeds were also recovered from the house," the spokesperson added. He shared a horrific video showing the victim, Mrs Okechi, being flogged by young men in her community, Umueghu, Amaegbuato community in Nkpa Bende LGA, Abia state. The young men tied her hands before they began to flog her.  Harrison mentioned that Mrs Okechi was tortured after her late husband's brother's wife accused her of being a witch.
