Ahead of APC Campaign rally today in Bekwarra Local Gov’t Area, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has received scores of prominent opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Members/Supporter’s in Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, including the ward chairman of Beten. The defectors  Mr. Mathew Oko, Peter Odama, Mrs Angela Oko, Godwin Achoda Bisong, Cecilia Odey, Samuel Okpodu, Ekunke Igbagri, others,   were received by Hon.(Prince) Edward Ajang, the Candidate of the party cum Member representing Bekwarra state constituency in the Cross River House of Assembly. They also said that they joined APC sequel to the ”visible performances of Hon. Eddy the APC Legislator and other political appointees. They commended APC for fielding credible candidates for the 2023 General Elections.

The Member representing Bekwarra in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. (Prince) Edward I. Ajang has hailed the State Government, the Digital Governor, on the decision to offer scholarship to indigenous students of tertiary institutions from Bekwarra as well as the State in general.   The Member made this statement on receipt of 150 State Government Scholarship Forms on behalf of Bekwarra Local Government from the Director General, Cross River State Scholarship Board for onward distribution to Stakeholders and tertiary institutions Students of Bekwarra.  Eddy described His Excellency's decision in this regards as a show of empathy to parents at this difficult time. Hon. He also urged his constituents who are qualified to obtain, fill the application form and return as directed therein.
