A mother-of-two, identified as Mrs. Blessing Eno, has been arrested by the police in Cross River State for allegedly beheadding her 11-month-old son in the Yonen community of Ugep, Yakurr LGA of the state. The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, November 29. Vanguard reports that the suspect, who may be suffering from Schizophrenia (Mental Disorder), took out a matchet and cut  off the head of the baby, claiming that the child was disturbing her and a spirit instructed her to slaughter the boy. A woman has been caught on camera assaulting a policeman in the FESTAC area of Lagos state yesterday. Paid advert: admission is ongoing at Institute of Marine & Technology, Nigeria. Location: Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The woman as seen in the video below ⬇️, grabbed the officer on uniform by the shirt, and is heard screaming in the face of the policeman and holding him tight, angry and saying that he had threatened to shoot her. Serious Panic as three Nigerian Private University students found dead in their lodge.

Students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam campus, have been thrown into mourning after three of their colleagues passed on. It was gathered that the deceased identified as Obidiaso Chidera - 200 level political science student, Mercy - Pharmacy student, and Emmanuella - Business Administration student, were found lif€less at their Goodluck hostel in Anambra State. A source reports, “They were locked up in the apartment. When we got access to apartment, we found them lif€less with two of them on their beds in the room while the third lif€less body was found in the kitchen. Some facts about MonkeyPox disease Monkeypox is caused by monkeypox virus, a member of the Orthopoxvirus genus in the family Poxviridae. The situation was due to a fire that occurred on Sept. 3, at the 132/33 KV Substation in Adiabo, Calabar. The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, has been dragged before a Federal High Court in Abuja over allegations of certificate forgery. In the court documents obtained by Reporters on Friday, a civil society organisation, Transparency Advocacy For Development Initiative, TADI, which is the plaintiff, is seeking the court to ascertain the true identity of the one-time Governor of Bayelsa State and serving minister. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has stated that hackers attacked its result viewing (IReV) portal during the recent Ekiti and Osun states’ elections.  This was stated by the INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, on Friday in Abuja while delivering the keynote address at a stakeholders' conference on election result management. A civic society organization (CSO), YIAGA Africa, organised the meeting to introduce the election result analysis dashboard (ERAD) report agenda. “Another technical concern for us is the repeated attempts to break through our cyber security system for the portal,” he said. “Our engineers reported several cyberattacks on the portal during the Ekiti and Osun governorship elections, some of them from as far as Asia.
